Chief Executive Officer

Al London is proven leader with 30 years of banking experience. Prior to becoming President and CEO of Generations Community Bank, Indiana’s first minority depository institution also known as a mission driven bank. Al had a long-standing career at JPMorgan Chase for 28 years. After completing a successful career at JPMorgan Chase Al joined Old National Bank in March of 2024 as SVP Community Impact Director where he co-led the efforts of establishing Generations Community Bank. Al brings a wealth of knowledge to his colleagues and community partners. Throughout his career Al has served in several different roles such as Branch Manager, Executive Director- Consumer Banking, and Executive Director-Area Manager Business Banking.

Al supports and encourages his colleagues to focus on ways to create a great client experience through relationship building and providing innovative solutions to help grow their business, all while achieving their financial dreams. More importantly, he promotes taking a collaborative approach and a healthy work culture through recruiting, community partnerships, and internal support groups to create a workforce that mirrors the diverse communities the bank serves.

Al is passionate about helping others which is reflected in his commitment to volunteerism in the community. In 2022 Al received the Volunteer Service Award from the Indianapolis Urban League, in 2025 he was recognized by Radio One where he received The Melanin Magic Award, he has been acknowledged as an Indianapolis Business Journal (IBJ) as a Top 250 honoree and in 2026 he was awarded the Impact Leadership Award by the Indianapolis Recorder.

Al has served on the Indianapolis Urban League board for two consecutive terms. He serves on the Indian Black Expo, Rise Indy, United Way of Central Indiana Investment and Endowment Volunteer Committee, he is an advisory board member of LISC Indiana.

As President and CEO of Generations Community Bank, Al is committed bringing the bank’s mission to life. The mission of the bank is to facilitate economic growth and upward mobility for all Indiana communities that have been overlooked and underserved with the goal of building wealth in these communities for generations to come.
