Generations Community Bank is making it easier for individuals and families to manage their money from wherever they are.

GCB customers now have access to more convenient digital banking options, including online personal account opening, TransferNow and Zelle®. These updates are part of our commitment to combining convenient banking technology with the personal guidance and relationship-focused service our clients expect.

You can now open a new personal account with Generations Community Bank online¹.

Online account opening gives you the flexibility to explore available personal banking options and begin the application process from your computer, tablet, or mobile device.

Transfer Funds With TransferNow

TransferNow is now available for eligible Generations Community Bank consumer accounts².

This digital banking feature allows you to make ACH transfers between your eligible GCB account and eligible accounts you hold at other financial institutions. It can be a convenient way to manage money across multiple bank accounts without writing a check or visiting a branch.

Send and Receive Money With Zelle®

Zelle® is now available for eligible Generations Community Bank consumer accounts.

Zelle® provides a fast and convenient way to send and receive money with people you know³.

You might use it to:

  • Pay back a friend or family member
  • Split the cost of a meal or shared expense
  • Send money to someone you know
  • Receive money directly into your eligible GCB account

Once you send money with Zelle®, you generally cannot cancel the payment if the recipient is already enrolled. Confirm the recipient’s phone number or email address before you send. If you believe an unauthorized transfer has occurred, contact us right away, your rights are described in your Online Banking Agreement and Electronic Fund Transfer disclosure.

The upcoming Visa® Debit Card Program will give eligible GCB customers another convenient way to access their funds and make everyday purchases.

Can I open a Generations Community Bank account online?

What is TransferNow?

TransferNow is a digital banking feature that allows eligible GCB consumer account holders to make ACH transfers between their eligible GCB accounts and eligible accounts at other financial institutions.

Does Generations Community Bank offer Zelle®?

Zelle® is now available for eligible Generations Community Bank consumer accounts. Customers should only use Zelle® to send money to people they know and trust.

Not yet. Zelle® for eligible GCB business accounts is coming soon. GCB will share enrollment and availability information when the service launches.

To send or receive money with Zelle®, both parties must have an eligible U.S. checking or savings account enrolled with Zelle® through their financial institution. Enrollment in GCB online or mobile banking is required. Transactions between enrolled users typically occur in minutes. Zelle® should only be used to send money to friends, family, and others you trust. Neither Generations Community Bank nor Zelle® offers a protection program for authorized payments made with Zelle®, for example, if you do not receive the item you paid for or the item is not as described.
