Rome Thalop serves as the Managing Partner and Chairman of Thalop Capital and Thalop Group. As a private equity executive, he has facilitated over $100M in alternative investment transactions, predominantly in the real estate sector. Rome is also the Board President of Yo-Health Inc., the first Burmese Chin public company.

Rome plays an integral role within the Chin/Burmese community. He serves as the President of the Burmese Community of North America, a collective that encompasses over 20 chartered Chin Burmese community associations nationwide. Rome also holds an advisory position with the Chin Baptist Church of the USA, representing over 200 churches, including over 10 mega-churches. Rome is also in the Advisory Board of the Burmese American Community Institute (BACI). This institution, pivotal for community-based research and academic initiatives, maintains partnerships with over 100 accredited educational establishments. Rome’s prior stewardship on the Board of the Chin Community of Indiana, where he oversaw community engagement and financial matters, further emphasizes his unwavering commitment to professional excellence and community development.
